Our story

Established in 1996, Abrami Precision Works specializes in the manufacture of precision machined components for automobile, industrial valve and general engineering industries. Located in Chennai, the hub for auto & auto components, our capability covers fully machined parts from bar, forgings and castings through to sub-assemblies.

Founded by Mr. Thiruvenkatam, Abrami grew from a single CNC turning centre into a leading supplier of high-precision machined components with the concept of “P-2-P” — Pre-machined to Precision-machined — under one roof.

Startup with 1 CNC Turning Centre for the Auto industry

2002
Customer extension to Industrial Valve sectors

2004
Started supplying bought-out materials to customers

2007
Abrami Engineers – new unit established

2017
New own premises at Maraimalai Nagar with CNC turning, deep hole drilling, VMC, profile projector and 2D height gauges; expanded with 1 VMC, 4 CNC and 2 robots for CNC operations

2021
Plant II established specifically to cater to a valued customer, IP Rings Ltd.; 4 CNC and 2 robots for CNC operations added

2023
CMM Zeiss, laser marking machine and thread testing machine

2024
Thread verification system and Palmary centreless grinding machine added as expansion

2025
4 robots with automatic checking machines installed

2026
CNC turning centre added exclusively for Valvtech
